About HIMTC
Hauraruni International Missionary Training Centre (HIMTC) was founded in the 1970s (then called FGF Training Centre) under the leadership of the late Apostle Philip Mohabir. Since its creation, HIMTC has trained thousands of workers for the kingdom who serve as missionaries and leaders around the world.
It is Guyana's first residential Bible College.
HIMTC offers a full-time training program that blends theological studies with vocational training – both of which are necessary for a missionary.
HIMTC is the Bible school of the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches in Guyana. It is led by Apostle Keeshan Banwarie & team.
PROGRAM
HIMTC offers a full-time two-year Diploma program in Christian Ministry. The program blends academic study with vocational skills. Each student is also assigned to a local church on the weekends as part of its' ministry team. They are also required to complete a mission trip once per year until program completion.
Each academic year consists of three semesters where students enroll in courses ranging from Theology, Evangelism, Hermeneutics, and special certificate courses like the John Maxwell Leadership Training module. Courses, short-term seminars and modules are taught by resident and visiting tutors all of which are academically and spiritually qualified with several years in active Christian ministry.
HIMTC Youth Camp
HIMTC hosts a national youth camp every year. The youth camp attracts young people from every region in Guyana. Our last youth camp was before COVID-19 in 2019. We saw over 800 youths together under one roof praising Jesus. HIMTC Youth Camp seeks to exalt Jesus Christ.
At the camp, many youths receive deliverance from evil spirits, revival, counseling and some answered the call of God to attend HIMTC Bible School to be trained for the Ministry. We will continue our youth camp every year. Youths travel by boat, cars, buses & even small planes to get here to experience the move of God.

STUDENT SPONSORSHIP
Students who are enrolled at HIMTC come from different walks of life from across Guyana. Sometimes, these students are sent from a very small church in the interior (jungle areas) without much financial support. HIMTC has never turned away a student who has answered the call of God to ministry but is faced with financial constraints. HIMTC is funded by generous supporters who make the call to the ministry easier to accomplish. Your gift of US$135 covers tuition costs for one student for one semester. There are three semesters per academic year. A full year of tuition sponsorship for one student is US$400. Tuition costs include books, course materials, accommodations, and meals. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a student. For your gift, you will receive regular updates on that student and stories of their mission trips.

BUILDING FUND
Tragedy struck in the wee hours of the morning on June 2018 when the multi-purpose hall on HIMTC.’s campus caught on fire leaving millions of damage. Almost half of the roof was completely gutted, the main stage was damaged, and the walls scorched. The multi-purpose hall hosts several events where thousands visit the campus throughout the year for different events. These include youth camps, women’s conventions, church leaders’ training seminars, and summer camps. All these events attract people from all the regions of Guyana where hundreds of lives are transformed through decisions to follow Christ, and deliverance from sin and addictions

HIMTC YOUTH CAMP
HIMTC hosts an annual national youth camp. The youth camp attracts young people from every region in Guyana. They are hungry for more of God. Youths travel by boat, cars, buses & even small planes to get here to experience the move of God. Although we had up to 800 youths in attendance we feel some may not be able to attend due to financial restraints .

PrincipalApostle Keeshan Banwarie is currently the Principal of and Apostle over HIMTC. He is an Apostle with over 40 years in the Ministry. He has trained & raised up thousands of men & women in the Ministry who have been sent all over the world. In his earlier years, he completed the Theological Studies Program in Jamaica.
Rev. Jonathan Banwarie
AdministratorPastor Jonathan Banwarie is the Administrator of HIMTC as well as a graduate. He Pastors Hauraruni Village Church Highway Ministries. He provides an Apostolic covering to nine churches on the Highway which he has planted & established. He is actively planting more churches & raising up more leaders.
Hollis Roberts
StaffHollis has over 25 years experience as a minister of the Gospel. Hollis is originally from Grenada.

StaffElma has over 30 years of ministry experience training both men & women.
